River Cruising at Weston Jaafar River Lodge, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

After enjoying the pork noodle at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang , we went to Weston Jaafar River Lodge at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.  Weston Jaafar River Lodge is a river wetlands in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.  You can find proboscis monkeys, fireflies, flying foxes, exotic plant such as wild pitcher plants and other wildlife here. The ride took another two hours to reach the jetty.  The time to travel from one place of attraction to another place in Kota Kinabalu is quite far,  so remember to bring some in-car entertainment or some junk foods or you can also just sleep during the journey. Pork Noodle at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang (家香生肉面), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

After tasting the beginning of climbing the Mount Kinabalu , we went to eat the famous Sabah pork noodle (sheng rou mian / 生肉面) at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang (家香生肉面) in Kota Kinabalu.  Kedai Kopi is translated as Coffee Shop in English.  The ride in our tourist van took two hours and most of us slept during the journey.  This is our second nice food in our Sabah Trip.  The first nice food is the fish meat mee hoon in tomato soup .  Until today we are still dreaming about the tasty soup and the fresh fish. The big and bright business plate for Kedai Kopi Jia Siang (家香生肉面).  This shop looks quite new and clean. Look at the poster.  The pork noodle has been around since January 1909 at Jesselton and this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang is around since 1997.  Long time business equal to nice food? Experience the beginning of Mount Kinabalu's climbing at Kinabalu Park, Sabah

After playing with goats and cows at the  Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, Kundasang , we visited the Kinabalu Park nearby.  The weather here is still cold like Genting Highlands so keep wearing your jacket.  This park is the entry point and also the ending point for climbing the mighty Mount Kinabalu which has the height of 4,101 meters.  But we are not here to climb the Mount K.  Kinabalu Park is actually one of the first national parks in Malaysia and it is very important biological sites with many species of flora and fauna.
