Boat Noodle is a new restaurant in  The School ,  Jaya One , which is opening soon as they are doing food trial this week.  Boat Noodle already has a branch at Empire Damansara as blogged by Eat Drink KL but we never get the chance to try it yet and we are so excited when we noticed Boat Noodle is opening a branch here near our office.  At Thailand, boat noodle or Kuai-tiao ruea or ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ in Thai literary means the noodle are sold in a small boat.  Boat noodle uses rice noodle and served with chicken or beef.  This Boat Noodle is pork free and you can choose from sour or spicy gravy.  Not sure about the full menu as it is the food trial period. The chicken boat noodle is served with a fish ball, parsley and other ingredients that make it very flavourful and sour at the same time.  It is so punchy and will definitely wake up your taste bud so that you can keep ordering the next bowl.  As you already noticed here, the portion is ...

On the last day of our Sabah trip, the tour guide brought us to visit Gaya Street Sunday Market since there is no more official activity in our list.  Gaya Street Sunday Market in Kota Kinabalu is a nice place to buy some souvenirs for yourself or your friend and family.  You can get some local stuff such as the popular local Tenom coffee, handmade items, key chains and fridge magnets. Damansara Village Seafood Restaurant is a Pulau Ketam style steamboat restaurant at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya.  This restaurant which is owned by Patrick Teoh, a famous actor and radio personality also serves other cooking style of seafood such as crab, prawn and lala (clams).  Not only the seafood are fresh, but the environment itself is special and unique compared to other steamboat restaurant.  Let's the photos show you why do I say so. The steamboat at Damansara Village Seafood and the delicious lala Damansara Seafood Village can be easily navigated to via Waze.  It is in the same area as the Lala Chong Restaurant , Pantai Seafood Restaurant and Awet Thai Seafood Restaurant.  You will easily spot this big signboard by the roadside.
