Sambal Petai with Prawn Rice at Lao Gang in O & S Restaurant, Seapark, Petaling Jaya

Not sure what to eat for dinner, we decided to visit O & S Restaurant at Sea Park, SS2 for the first time.  There are so many dishes to choose from, but we decided to make our breath and urine smelly for the next few days with Sambal Petai with Prawn Rice! (RM 7)

Sambal Petai with Prawn Rice
 Petai and prawns are a bit smaller compared to Little Kitchen's version. Perhaps they couldn't get bigger stock? Will come again to compare.

Sambal, Petai, Prawn and Rice, the perfect combination.  A bit too oily for me but the taste of the sambal covering the smelly petai is just nice.

Butter baby kailan
Butter baby kailan, very nice dish to go with white rice. It is actually tasted like salted egg. Do they really add salted egg or it is pure butter engineered into salted egg taste? Only the chef knows.


From the menus below, it seems like they have a lot of nice choices. Will come again next time to try them all.

Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant At Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya

Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant  at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara is one of our favorite Chinese seafood restaurant in Petaling Jaya. Before this, the restaurant was operating near Subang Airport. In Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, our other favorite Chinese restaurant is the Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant as blogged on my blog post here . Lala Chong's specialty is their big and juicy lala, thus the name Lala Chong. We saw many customer eating their crab as well but we never had the chance to try their crab. Steamed lala soup is the must order dish here in Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant. The tasty addictive soup goes well with white rice. I can just eat the soup and the rice alone. This dish is also served with candle to keep the soup warm throughout the dinner. Big, fat and juicy lala. The lala are clean and no sand found in the body. Steamed tilapia. Visiting Peacock Garden and Wen Wu Temple during Taiwan Trip to Taichung and Taipei

On the way to Wen Wu Temple, we stopped for a while at Peacock Garden.  I think there are only around 30 peacocks here.  Nothing special if you have seen a peacock before in real life. The Peacock Garden. Can you see any peacock? A nice peacock, too bad it didn't expand the tail. A white peacock staring at my black lens. Is this a peacock or a chicken?  Looks like a chicken to me. Another peacock with nice hair After looking at the peacock, we went to Wen Wu Temple.  Wenwu Temple is located at the shoulder of mountain, north of Sun Moon Lake .  It was built in 1938 when the people are worried the water of Sun Moon Lake will cover Longfeng Temple and Ihuatang of Shuishotsun,  so they built the Wen Wu Temple. Year of Steps is the original entrance to the temple.  There are 366 steps of stair which represents the days in a year.  Now it leads down to the the Sun Moon Lake.  We just take some photos from the top but didn't climb down as we worrie...
